Hi Adebayo - Crucial topic. As a Brit living in Germany this shames me & my culture / whether the writers are sad trolls trying to provoke us or sick racists with a brain-cell connection problem. Linking it to the "white working class" is probably too generic though- I grew up near Birmingham and had friends of all colours in school - Racism was present in the Midlands but for most people in my crowd it was the enemy. And from conversations I have had with Brexit-supporters I know there are plenty of racist middle-class people as well. Sad that racism still taints everything / sport included. And as idiotic as the idea is that skin colour (instead of age, training, tournament experience, time on field etc) has any relevance to penalties, you are right to shine a light on these social cancers we still haven't found a cure for.
